Statistics for Health Science

Description

A course that expands on concepts developed in MA232 by investigating more advanced statistical techniques with application to health related research. Topics include accuracy measures of screening tests, relative risk and odds ratio, Chi-square tests, ANOVA, non-parametric tests, multiple and logistic regression, and survival analysis. Emphasis will be placed on generating and interpreting the appropriate statistical software output. Credit cannot be earned in both MA 236 and MA 235. Prerequisite: MA 232. Offered: Fall
